When a device is unstable, any accidental action can reduce the chance of recovering the files. That is why we first secure the device, assess the risk and only then move on to the actual recovery work.

The drive clicks, has been dropped or stopped working? We have our own Cleanroom (dust-free chamber) on site. We safely replace heads and recover data from mechanical damage (WD, Seagate, Toshiba).
Has the drive disappeared from the system or is it reporting zero capacity? We handle controller and firmware failures in SSD and NVMe drives. We recover data from SATAFIRM S11 errors and damaged electronics (Samsung, Kingston, Goodram).
