Data recovery across Poland — mail-in devices and safe diagnosis
Data recovery — safe, effective and available across Poland
If you have lost access to files, the drive is no longer detected, the system freezes, or a NAS / RAID reports errors, the most important thing is not to make the condition of the device worse. For dedicated business cases, we also support Synology / QNAP NAS recovery and VMware / Hyper-V / SAN environments. At Dysk i Spółka, we work as a data recovery laboratory: we perform diagnostics, prepare a safe sector-by-sector image and recover data from the copy, not “live” from the damaged device. We handle cases from all over Poland by courier, and locally in Warsaw.
Which devices do we handle?
- HDD — spinning hard drives (mechanical and logical failures): HDD data recovery
- SSD / NVMe — controller failures, detection problems and firmware errors: SSD/NVMe data recovery
- RAID / NAS — arrays, servers and NAS devices: RAID/NAS data recovery
- Memory cards — SD / microSD / CF and others: Data recovery from memory cards
Symptoms of device failure — when to be especially careful
- The drive clicks, beeps, keeps disconnecting, or the system starts very slowly.
- The device disappears from BIOS / UEFI, appears randomly, or shows the wrong capacity (for example 0 B).
- The partition is RAW, the computer asks to format it, or folders are no longer accessible.
- Copying ends with CRC errors, files are corrupted, or they can no longer be opened.
- RAID / NAS shows “degraded”, rebuild stops, or the volume disappears.
What not to do if your data matters
The most common mistake is trying to “repair” the device at home. In many cases, such attempts lead to overwrites or a worse mechanical condition.
- Do not keep restarting a computer with a drive that makes unusual sounds.
- Do not install recovery software on the same drive from which you want to recover files.
- Do not format the device and do not run CHKDSK / “drive repair” if the data is important.
- Do not open a hard drive yourself (risk of permanent platter damage).
- For RAID/NAS, do not reinitialize the array and do not start a chaotic rebuild without diagnosis.
How the data recovery process works in the laboratory
- Diagnostics — assessment of the failure type and risk
- Sector-by-sector copy — safe data capture (all work is performed on a copy)
- File recovery — recovery of the file structure and data from the copy
- Verification — integrity check of the recovered data
Why choose our data recovery laboratory
Data recovery is a process that requires specialist equipment and experience. In our laboratory we use professional tools designed for working with damaged storage devices.
- diagnostics of damaged storage devices
- specialist data recovery tools (e.g. PC-3000)
- safe work on a sector-by-sector disk image
- data recovery from many types of devices
Every failure case is analysed individually, which allows us to choose the right recovery method for the specific device and damage type.
Shipping a device for data recovery (all of Poland)
If you cannot bring the device in person, use our courier / shipping option. We have prepared a simple guide for safe packing and delivery: Send a package to the laboratory.
Frequently asked questions
Can data be recovered without increasing the risk of loss?
No one can promise zero risk with a damaged device, but our diagnostic procedure and image-based workflow minimise the risk of making the data condition worse.
How much does data recovery cost?
The cost depends on the type of device and the type of damage. First diagnosis and technical assessment, then a quotation. See: how much data recovery costs.
Do you sign an NDA?
Yes — if needed, we can sign an NDA before work begins.

Related data recovery services
In our laboratory we do not work only with HDD data recovery. We also help with failures of other storage media used in computers, servers and NAS systems.
- Data recovery from SSD drives – help in cases involving SATA and NVMe SSD failures, controller damage or flash memory issues.
- RAID array data recovery – data recovery from servers, RAID arrays and NAS systems.
- Memory card data recovery – data recovery from SD cards, microSD, CompactFlash and media used in cameras and camcorders.
