Data recovery prices depend on the storage device, failure type, read risk and scope of laboratory work. Below you will find approximate ranges for HDD, SSD/NVMe, RAID/NAS, USB drives, memory cards, MacBooks and business cases. The final quote is always given after diagnosis, before paid recovery work begins.

How to read the ranges

The price depends on the actual condition of the storage device, not on one technical activity.

Ranges help assess the scale of the case, but they do not replace diagnosis. The same symptom can mean a simple logical problem, unstable reading or damage that requires laboratory work. If the device disappears, clicks, asks to be formatted or a RAID array shows degraded, the safest step is to describe the failure before running more repair tools.

Individual service activities are not priced separately.

We quote a safe recovery procedure: diagnosis, controlled reading, result verification and delivery of working files. We do not price a single technical operation without checking the result.

Diagnosis makes the estimate realistic.

By phone we can indicate approximate ranges, but only the storage device, symptoms and read risk show the real scope of work. Describe the case and we will tell you whether it looks logical, physical or laboratory-grade.

The price increases when the risk, read time or complexity of the environment increases.

Is the standard diagnosis free?

Yes. Standard diagnosis is free. After checking the storage device, we present a realistic quote and only then do you decide whether we start work.

Why can't you give one price over the phone?

The price depends on the storage device, failure type, read stability and scope of laboratory work. After hearing the symptoms we can indicate a range, but the final quote is given after diagnosis.

When do I pay for the service?

Payment is made after you accept the quote and after effective completion of the agreed scope of work. We do not start paid work without your decision.

Can I cancel after the quote?

Yes. After diagnosis, you can accept the quote or cancel. Exceptions may include previously agreed express work or non-standard analyses.

Does the price depend on disk capacity?

Capacity can affect imaging and data verification time, but the condition of the storage device, failure mode and read stability are usually more important.

Is priority handling more expensive?

Yes. Priority or corporate mode can be priced individually because it requires work outside the standard queue and faster organization of the process.

Can SSD recovery be more expensive than HDD recovery?

Yes. SSD/NVMe cases may require work with the controller, firmware, NAND memory, TRIM or encryption, so a similar symptom can have a different quote than in an HDD case.

Do companies receive an invoice?

The price covers a safe recovery procedure: diagnosis, controlled reading, file verification and preparing data for return. It depends on the storage device condition, read risk, work time and whether the device has to be prepared for stable imaging.
