Data recovery prices depend on the storage device, failure type, read risk and scope of laboratory work. Below you will find approximate ranges for HDD, SSD/NVMe, RAID/NAS, USB drives, memory cards, MacBooks and business cases. The final quote is always given after diagnosis, before paid recovery work begins.

How to read the ranges

The price depends on the actual condition of the storage device, not on one technical activity.

Ranges help assess the scale of the case, but they do not replace diagnosis. The same symptom can mean a simple logical problem, unstable reading or damage that requires laboratory work. Mechanics, head crash and parts donors

When the case requires opening the disk, you accept costs in stages.

Preliminary diagnosis 0 PLN does not include long mechanical work or the purchase of parts. With mechanical damage, we first discuss paid qualification, work in the laminar chamber and possible storage device-donor, and only after your acceptance we move on to the next stage.

1. Preliminary diagnosis: 0 PLN

Includes the adoption of the disk, model identification, symptoms, electronics and basic assessment.

2. Advanced mechanical diagnostics: e.g. 500 PLN

Range 300-800 PLN gross. The stage is non-returnable, uncounted and started only after acceptance.

3. Cost of purchasing the donor storage device (replacement parts)

The donor part is a compatible disk from which you can use the elements needed for a safe reading test.

Usually it costs 300-1000+ PLN, it is paid before ordering, and after a sample part may not be suitable for reuse.

4. Extraction of data after confirmation of scope: e.g. PLN 3000-6000

The final price depends on the condition and result. In the absence of recovery, you only pay for the accepted stage and the ordered donors.

What influences the price

The price increases when the risk, read time or complexity of the environment increases.

Media type HDD, SSD/NVMe, RAID, memory cards and databases require different procedures.
Type of failure We price the format differently than unstable reading or physical damage.
Reading stability The more errors and freezes, the more important it is to have safe imaging.
Data capacity and amount Large media may require more time to read and verify.
Encryption / BitLocker Encryption requires additional assessment and access to the right keys.
RAID / number of disks Arrays require determining the configuration, media order, and state of each disk.
Physical damage Laboratory work and preparing the storage device for reading increase the scope of the case.
Priority procedure A time-critical or company matter may require separate work organization.

Short answers to the questions that most often appear before a data recovery quote, diagnosis cost and post-failure estimate.

Is the standard diagnosis free?

Yes. Standard diagnosis is free. After checking the storage device, we present a realistic quote and only then do you decide whether we start work.

Why can't you give one price over the phone?

The price depends on the storage device, failure type, read stability and scope of laboratory work. After hearing the symptoms we can indicate a range, but the final quote is given after diagnosis.

When do I pay for the service?

Payment is made after you accept the quote and after effective completion of the agreed scope of work. We do not start paid work without your decision. — Launch They only eat after your prior consent.

Is advanced mechanical diagnostics paid?

Does the price depend on disk capacity?

Capacity may affect the time of imaging and verification of data, but usually the condition of the storage device, the type of failure and read stability are more important.

Is urgent mode more expensive?

Yes, urgent or corporate mode can be assessed individually because it requires work outside the standard queue and faster process organization.

Can recovery from the SSD be more expensive than from the HDD?

Yes. SSD/NVMe may require work with controller, system software, NAND memory, TRIM or encryption. For this reason, a similar symptom may have a different quote than in the HDD disk.

Do companies receive an invoice?

Yeah. We support company applications, invoices, NDAs and urgent B2B cases. The company scope is determined after diagnosis and short description of priorities.

The price covers a safe recovery procedure: diagnosis, controlled reading, file verification and preparing data for return. It depends on the storage device condition, read risk, work time and whether the device has to be prepared for stable imaging.
