Data recovery case form
How to prepare the failure description
This case goes directly to the data recovery laboratory. The more precisely you describe the symptoms, the faster we can indicate safe actions and possible recovery scenarios.
After submitting the form, we contact you, confirm the next steps and explain how to secure the device before drop-off or shipping.

What happens after you submit the form — step by step
After you submit the case, you will receive a confirmation and we will follow up with additional questions if something is missing (e.g. device type, symptoms, importance of the data). This helps us prepare the workstation and shorten the diagnosis time once the hardware arrives.
Diagnosis is free — after that we present the quote and available options (standard/express). We begin work only after approval. In most cases we create an image of the device and work on a copy, because that is the safest approach for your data.
If you are sending the device by courier, protect it against shocks (especially HDDs): rigid box, padding and no free movement inside. If you have questions, call 573 532 490 — we will tell you how to prepare the parcel.
- Describe the symptoms: detected / not detected, RAW, clicking, copy errors.
- Do not format the device or run file system repairs before diagnosis.
- State the priority: business data, photos, deadlines, GDPR-related material, etc.
How to describe the problem in one sentence (so we immediately know what to do)
The best submissions are short and specific. Example: “1 TB HDD, clicks after a drop and the computer cannot see it” or “NVMe SSD, folders disappeared after a Windows update.” This kind of description lets us assess the risk immediately and choose a safe course of action.
If you do not know how to name the issue, describe what you see: a RAW message, a format prompt, CRC errors, copying freezes, no drive letter. We will ask for the rest.
- Tell us whether the device was used after the failure (this matters for TRIM and overwrites).
- Let us know whether the data is sensitive — we can prepare an NDA.
- If you are facing a deadline, write “express” in the message.
